How The Bienvenue Method came to be...
When I was eleven I moved from New York to France with my mother. I didn’t speak a word of French, but that didn’t keep my mother from sending me to public school. With no help from anyone, within three months I was fluent, and nine months later I was first in my class.
Years later I went to Latin America, where I used the same techniques to teach myself Spanish. Eight months into my travels my boyfriend and I were kidnapped in Medellin, Colombia and held at gunpoint. Thanks to my self-taught Spanish and some quick thinking, I was able to talk my captors into letting us go. I call that highly effective.
It is on this personal experience that I based The Bienvenue Method.

I began studying French 5 years ago. Although I can read, write and comprehend spoken French pretty well, I have been unable to master speaking French. I feel stress and anxiety and I literally cannot speak. This is what happened during my first lesson with Danielle.
